Right Place, Right Time

Right Place, Right Time

This is about long and short-term planning, where you want to try and arrive at the bottom of the route or routes you want to climb at the right time for you, your fitness and the conditions on the route. As such it may be simply training to peak for a holiday and climbing trip, or even going to the crag at the right time of year, at the right time of day, after the right conditions have proceeded your visit. As such getting everything into perfect alignment can feeling like waiting the thousands of years for the planets to come into a line. It will be rare to have all your apples in a row, but with a little extra eye for detail, you may just find that you can minimise failure because either you or the crag were out of condition.
