This sections is generally aimed at coaches to help them develop as teachers by highlighting teaching and learning styles and how to apply them to rock climbing. However there are a coupe fo elements on how we learn that will help any climber become what might be described as an expert learner. As we shall highlight the mental processes of learning, so climbers and coaches can reverse engineer the most efficient route to learning any skill.
For coaches we also cover a wide variety of subjects from the nutty and bolts of teaching models to apply, along with the pros and cons of each. This also allows us to discuss how different learning models will suit different levels of learning. We also cover many other aspects of the coaching process, with the aim of helping coaches improve their practice.
