Power
Whilst we have broken strength down into four separate areas, and we could do the same for power, however, we have kept this generic as its principles can be applied to any form of strength. Power is our ability to utilise our strength as quickly as possible, as such you need to work on developing strength before developing power. For the majority of route climbers power will not be of great consequence. If you are climbing hard sport or bouldering then power can help a lot when it comes to individual moves that may require more dynamic and powerful climbing styles.
