Dynamic Moves
Whilst the dyno is the best known of the dynamic movements, we can also lunge for and pop for holds with the speed of movement being an ally to us. However, with dynamic moves, there are arguably three stages, the setup, the leap/lung or jump to the next hold and then the catch. It is often the last point of catching a hold that lets people down, as we have to calculate what swing/trajectory our bodies will take once we have caught the hold.
Whilst this happens quickly, with experience you will be able to feel like you are slowing down the movement, although this is only a perception. In reality we just become accustom to the speed of thought required to master the catch as our bodies pendulum into a new equilibrium.
