Finding & Using Rests
Climb harder is all about efficiency and saving energy, as such finding and using a hands-off rest or a little respite whilst on a route is a key tactic. A hands-off rest is a place where we can recover from a tricky section and shake out the lactic acid from our arms and even legs, but it is also a place to look ahead at the next section of climbing and revise your plan. It is also a place where you can retreat from a baffling crux to regroup mentally, recover physical and rethink your planned sequence/method/approach to a crux.
